And if we already mention names like Marx and Heine, it would not hurt at all to mention their Jewish background. Like for many other German poets, writers, philosophers... uh...scientists...directors, actors...musicians... No end to it (sg). I will never forget a scene from "Comedian harmonists" - they have their last concert 33 in Berlin - and the girl in the audience just cant stop crying like there's the end of the world coming. That was Germany sitting there and crying for all that followed. btw I like Heine very very much; Regards and shalom dj
