Well, Like it or not they made the move I would have made. Over the past couple of years that team had seen a major decline in talent. They had to make a choice as to whether to play a guy who could keep them 8-8 and get mid round draft choices or play a guy who has a little more time that could be a system QB. He has good talent at wide-out but he takes too long to get rid of the ball. If they can speed him up and put a line in front of him there is a chance he could still develop. Flutie is a gamer who would never have been able to be worked into a 5 year plan. For the bills he would have served as nothing more than a security blanket to mediocrity. Thus lower draft choices resulting in weaker talent in the future.

I might also add that I hope they cut him. Let GB pick him up - we can make a player out of him.
