sooner rather than later. there is increasing evidence (recent downward revisions to home sales were HUGE) that this bubble has peaked as well. the delay in the RE bubble peak vs. the stock market bubble peak is also in keeping with historic precedent.

very few believe that this can happen rapidly -- a month ago we had AG telling us we were all still rich because housing prices remained firm -- what a j*cka$$!

There'll be a 2nd wave of layoffs after Christmas --
I expect housing prices will go very soft starting Feb and March -- let's see if I get that one right.

The housing stocks are a first indicator IMO -- take a look at them.

Not sure what to make of FNM CEO feeling the need to say that things are just peachy for them ... weird.
