Some furhter thinking out loud..

How much did the 9/11 attacks positively boost sales which would result in a higher reorder rate and or clearing out the channel overhang.

How much is KDDI's 1X delay and their obivious dropping the ball in attaining new subscribers on their current network negatively impact sales.

If China is not rolling out till 1st Q 02 then I wouldn't expect asic orders till sometime in december which being the end of the qtr will make it a difficult call for Q in this month's CC. Any uncertainty will be harshly punished.

I don't think there's anyway to call this one unfortunately.

I was heartened by the boomlet in CSM sales which was reported at the last earnings conference call. I doubt that it will result in drtamatically higher ASIC sales this quarter. Nevertheless, should be good for decent forward guidance.
