I didn't see the ceremony and was only naming Oprah because of someone else's comments. I'm not usually "a TV-watching-kinda-guy". I'm wired. And if it don't play on the Internet, I'm usually not seeing it.

Since I can't go too long without contradicting myself, I do have to say I've got CSPAN on switching between 1 and 2. Watching government in process is like watching sausage being made. I'm listening to farm bills being debated on CSPAN1(kickbacks to rich people who really don't need it) and then an actually legitimate bill rider (CSPAN2) proposal that addresses misbranded "catfish" from Viet Nam (it is a separate genus and not all that close to the native American fish) being sold side by side with Channel Catfish from farms in Arkansas. Never really thought about that, being a vegetarian and all. But I don't really think catfish-like fish from polluted Vietnamese waters is the same product, really. But such a little piece of legislation tied to a global policy on national trade? Hmmm...
