IF MOT were to hold KDDI and NXTL hostage for something like 1exterem or some othe proprietary system in the future, wouldn;t this be in MOT intrest and place pressure on Q to abandon 3QLNS and go with the other proposals out there?

Like I said, perhaps you all should look at MOTs history in the past to find out who they really are.

KDDI got held up for amost 2 years in japan to roll out CDMA because MOT had a lock on them using NAMPS....sound like super iDEN?

does to me. KDDI would have preferred to use NEC who has a good CDMa BTS system.

(PS - perhaps you should look at what VZ is doing about it. they have been siliently ripping out MOT equipment in favor of other vendors over time)
