Mind boggling that you are still obsessed with the question of whether terrorists are religious or secular or whatever. Their MOTIVATIONS are irrelevant! It is their ACTIONS that must be condemned and those who still intend to TAKE ACTION who should be squeezed until they no longer have the resources to act.

I think what I really meant was that Atta, bin Laden, and his ilk destroyed their entitlement to the respect due a faith or religion when they formulated their plan to wage war on innocents. I think they are in the same league as David Koresch, Jim Jones, Adolf Hitler, and other fanatics. They might THINK they are God's chosen, but the choice exists only in their minds. No offense, and I'm not speaking from a solid knowledge base, but I'm told that many Jewish people exist as secular entities. So if the tables were turned and we had kamikaze Jews, would we be calling it faith-based? I think not.
