I recognize the risk. And I agree that the Internet won't be sufficiently reputable for everyone to be comfortable any time soon, if ever.

There are people who use aliases for reasons other than caution. They are con men, whackos, game players, neurotics, and jerks. I'd prefer to run them out of Dodge.
