RE: You do not know what God's intentions are for modern man, or maybe you do? Is it possible that "Post-modern reductionism" is the path that God wants man to travel down?

Post modern reductionism reduces all of the meaning of life to random chance and time, and electro-chemical reactions. There is no good, no evil. There is no God. There is no love, and no heroes. We are all drones programmed by our environment to slobber when we smell food, and nothing that we do has any element of free will.

Hard to imagine God would proscribe such illogical nonsense as the ultimate destiny of mankind.

RE: To view all humanity as being potentially important ...

In a God-centric world, where a person is created in the image of God, every person has infinite purpose, and importance, and life has ultimate meaning. There are no qualifiers.

Now, if free will is a God-given attribute, then we can choose to be heroes or cowards, or even mass-murderers, and we each have ultimate responsibility for our choices. We can, as well, embrace or reject God, which also has its consequences.

This is the complete antithisis of post-modern reductionism.
