"In a God-centric world, where a person is created in the image of God, every person has infinite purpose, and importance, and life has ultimate meaning"

My Teacher, Adi Da states this along the lines of:

-- there is nothing but God
-- the only separation from God is illusory
-- that experienced separation is as a result of an
ACTIVITY (not an entity), described variously as the ego
(or the self-contraction)
-- the true task of life is to understand how one is separating oneself from the Divine and to cease doing so and
instead, surrending into the Divine

"Now, if free will is a God-given attribute"

In the Urantia Book (on the Internet), the original "humans"
are described as lemurs who were the first to embody "free will" and that embodiment of free will established their
fundamental "humanity" as opposed to "lemur-hood"

The Urantia book is an interesting presentation of many
matters, and includes a 1000 page Life of Jesus which it describes as coming from the "thought" of over 1,000 persons who lived at the time of Jesus.

Namaste!
