I am afraid that this is a pantheistic view that I reject. Man is not God. Man is created in the image of God. But man lacks the divine attributes of God, ominpotence, omnisience, omnipresence, and infinite existence. Man and God are distinctly separate.

God is perfect and moral. Moral law is one of the pillars of the universe (as is physical law). Man has the free will to embrace or reject God. Rejecting God always means rejecting some or all of His moral law. Both have eternal consequences. Declaring oneself God is the ultimate rejection of God's moral law.

Re: ... 1000 page Life of Jesus which ...

THis "thought of over 1000 persons" is certainly not a first-person historical account. There is no evidence to support such a suggestion. The new testament has withstood intense scrutiny as to the accuracy of its historicity and authorship. Thus it is the only reliable reference to the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, the only "Way, Truth, and Life". Later (much later) writings, that do not line up with the originals, can not be deemed as reliable insight into the Redeemer Jesus Christ.

I reject the Urantia as I reject pantheism. Not as a personal bias, but because they both lack the foundation of truth and reason.
