You are right about the government causing in some way the problem. In my industry, the government meddles all the time. We have to have a cushion to get us through the bad times. Since we are also a construction Company, the weather also affects us. Should the government bail us out when it snows? Every Company has to be the biggest and the best. They spend all on growth, and have nothing for a rainy day. Look at all the tech companies that went belly up because they were going to be all to everyone. Should we have saved them too. If that were the case, we should still be supporting the buggy industry even though there is not much of a use for buggy's anymore. One must remember that this money is our's, and should be spent wisely, and in the manner that we want. We cannot take care of everyone, and sometimes it is best to let the weaker not survive. They will have to learn to provide what we want, not what they want to produce. Travel was slowing down before the terrorist incident. They need to look out for themselves. When a plane goes down not because of terrorists, it is necessary to down all planes in order to determine the cause. Should we all pay for that?
