AMD - Total Sales down 22%, flash off $ 100 mil. Can't relate those two at the moment.

Amy, RE: How much of their decline is due to flash vs PCs?

According to the press release, flash sales declined by $100mm sequentially, which was consistent with previous guidance form the 29 Aug preannouncement.

Unit sales appear in line with previous expectations. The incremental loss was entirely attribute to declining ASP. (The 29 Aug preannouncement stated that expectations were for a 15% sequential decline, today's announcement estimated 3Q sales at $766, a 22% sequential decline.)

Amy,

I see GV answered your question. Ballpark, off the top of my head, AMD will lose about $88 million last quarter. The balance sheet is getting weaker.
