Hi Dave,

They are definitely two different populations, SI and those that appear on the media. I find the SI investors to be well-informed and good indicators of conventional wisdom, while the people on CNBC and the strategists of Wall Street support their own agenda and are less useful for gauging sediment.

For example, I didn't buy the ML and Goldman calls on the semi sector in mid August, when the SOX was near 600 and they said the bottom was in and time to buy. I was buying SOX Puts on their calls. Today the SOX is near 380, after touching 343. Brutal performance for ML and Goldman. Are they held accountable? We'll see, I think credibility is waning for these people and rightfully so.
