wanna, Well, with AMD server CPU sales at less than 5% it must be laptops and SD shops that bring up the average, it sure is not Dell?

wanna_bmw, many people estimate the number of processors sold in the whole second quarter to be about 35 million. AMD claims to have sold 7.7 million, which is 22% of that share

If Q2 had 35 million, Q3 certainly had less than that, so AMD's share rose a smidgeon. Intel's market share in $$ probably rose, however, since I doubt Intel's ASP tanked like AMD's.
