What has happened to the $Billions in aid given the Palestinians? By not assisting the Palestinians in getting their elected gov't a more solid economic ground to work from, we have assisted in destabilization too.

Why are you so eager to accept a pig in a poke? What kind of state does the PLO intend to set up? Do you really believe they have in mind a liberal constitutional democracy? I want to see a constitution including provision requiring the new state to live in peace with ALL it's neighbors and eschewing in perpetuity any claim to the lands of the State if Israel before I would even CONSIDER THE POSSIBILITY of a Palestinian state.
