ST - $38..What has changed in a couple of days? .....Nothing has changed. 1. Q still owns cdma 2. gradually the whole world is beginning to offer cdma. 3. Killer apps will arise as the market for them expands. 4. No other company that I know has this lever on a world technology. 5. We have had nothing but great news for the last nine months even China is finally getting going and NOK signed. 6. The propsects for 3G have increased as a result of Sep 11. 7. PCS and VZ are on the point of releasing 1x into the US this month or next month. 8. Radio Shack says wireless in doing very well. 9. Korea sold a bunch of 1x last month 10. E911 is going to make a difference over the next couple of years. 11. DoCoMo is actually now selling 3G phones in Japan and the Q gets paid. 12. DoCoMo says it is going to sell 3G in Europe of all places next year and Q will get paid. 11. Toshibas new wireless ready notebooks. 12. Palms new wireless PDA phones 13. KDD will start in the spring, late but so what Q gets paid. So why on a couple of days when the NAZ takes off is the Q down over 20%??????????????? Answer - Runour mongering and a concerted hedge fund attack. Some hedge fund manager or maybe aroup of them decided to push the door then we had the OPWV, NXTL, KDDI delay announcments and a rumour and that was enough. But in the real world nothing changed and people want 1x. Just wait till we see all these new handests and Toshibas new wireless equiped notebooks. If the ARPU goes down well the SPs will have to get more users and they will as more wireless modes start enabling a range of devices from PDAs to automobiles. Give me a break. I used to be the end of the World guy but we are there and now we are on our way back. DH wake up and smell the coffee. You are the best indicator of a bottom there is. Best, L
