Angela Kyte, Marsh USA Regional Managing Director New York, Oct. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Angela R. Kyte, 49, regional managing director and chief knowledge officer for the Northeast, Marsh & McLennan Cos.'s Marsh USA Inc. insurance unit. Kyte joined Marsh 25 years ago, starting as an account representative at its Morristown, New Jersey, office. She was promoted over the years and worked in midtown Manhattan but held a meeting at Marsh's World Trade Center office on Sept. 11, when the towers were struck by hijacked airliners. She graduated magna cum laude from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, with a bachelor of arts degree in Soviet studies. She was president of the alumni association and was on the board of advisers for the school of management. The New Jersey, resident had set up a scholarship fund this summer to help New Jersey students discover Lycoming. Kyte is survived by her husband; son; her mother; and four sisters. A memorial service was held last week.
