Daniel Afflitto, 32, Partner, Cantor Fitzgerald New York, Oct. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Daniel T. Afflitto, 32, director of listed equity trading, partner, Cantor Fitzgerald LP. Afflitto, of Manalapan, New Jersey, hired a trader at Cantor Fitzgerald in 1996 whom he would marry three years later, the Newark Star-Ledger reported. When he and his future wife started dating, she left the firm to become a floor broker to comply with a company policy against dating co-workers. Last year, the couple had a son, now 7 months old. Two days after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, Stacey learned she was pregnant again, Daniel's father told the Star-Ledger. Afflitto was born and raised in Wayne, and attended Wayne Hills High School. He graduated from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia in 1991. Afflitto is also survived by his mother and brother. A Memorial Mass will be said Saturday, Oct. 6.
