Dennis: I'm afraid you're way off base when it comes to the real capabilities of compression technology. You really think some of those heavily compressed low rate video and audio standards look and sound good?? No! I don't think that MP3 and MPEG Set Top Boxes for Digital Cable look or sound that good! Nor do I think most Solid State Audio Amplifiers sound that great either. But not everyone still uses a McIntosh Tube Amp like I do! The truth is.. It does not matter what you or I think! All that matters is what the general "wireless device" using consumer thinks. And according to Qualcomm and most of the rest of the world.. MP3 is just fine.. Same goes for MPEG4.. And the compression technology will continue.. And there is nothing you can do to stop it. Let me help you out here.... If you don't like Data Compression.. and think that the results of such are unacceptable to the general public..Then you are invested in the wrong company!! Because like it or not... Qualcomm's main forte in technology is Data Compression. If you content that I have no credibility.. Then there you go.. You are more than welcome to your opinion.. BTW the equity is at $38.
