"we're doomed."

Is that why smart money has been unloading banking issues while the overall market tone by CISCO & DELL were painted positive?

I do not know whom to trust anymore?

*Major OT* Appreciate anyone's help on this one...please do so by PM, if so inclined...

Need some balance sheet analysis of this company:

siliconinvestor.com

I may be doing some work with these guys, and just wanted an extra pair of eyes to take a look. All comments welcome.

One interesting tidbit: They recently acquired a group called Argosy Education (news releases under "news" section). I can't figure out why, though, they would pay 70-75 million in cash, when back in July, their stock price was at an all-time high, and their balance sheet is cash poor. I am assuming that they didn't want the head of the company being purchased (who owns 75% of Argosy's stock) to effectively take control of EDMC. Can anyone enlighten me as to why they didn't do a stock deal?

Also, of course, any red herrings in the balance sheet/income statement appreciated. Stock seems very pricey to me, as investors have fled to safety.

Thanks a lot in advance.
