LOL! Everyone blames poor pmcs for everything. I don't think it's even traded in Canada.

Besides, if you look at jdsu and nt, they trade more shares here than in Canada. Most likely there are more U.S. investors in pmcs, but that's just a guess.

Blame David Tice for pmcs's fall if anyone. He's been slamming it every time he opens his mouth or the repeated cries of just about every carrier cutting their cap-ex spending.

Amcc started to fall when Barrons wrote an article about how expensive the semis were. It continued to fall after the analyst meetings and then Vtss warned. Wtc was the icing on the cake.

I don't think it's fair to blame pmcs. The whole sector has been falling.

How does PMCS being in Canada affect its volatility?

Canada's capital gains rules are anything but clear, but if you do a lot of short term trading (holding < 1 year) and get audited, you risk losing capital gains treatment.
