Plus i believe we have some carrot involved to make it in their interest not to remove the original packaging.
The fellow overseeing this,says we are now far far more sophisticated in knowing how to get the food to the people.
Another factor the food will be in secure areas--Pakistan,Iran and two other areas.
the traders must return to get the one allotment at a time.
Plus we will be distributing from the east/west/south and north.
Taliban's today now trying to barter using their christian captives keeps me thinking they can't deliver Osama.
I feel we will ignore the bartering regards the hostages they have, those people will be sacrificed i suspect(or saved via a commando raid).Max
p.s.Afganistan is it's third year of a severe drought.
The non-military people are tired exhausted and just plain fed up with the over 20 years of war and total chaos.
i feel we are going at this with high intelligence,as we know bombing in general is an exercise in bouncing rocks around.
Bombing will be at the Taliban anti-aircraft and the The Taliban troops themselves,whenever they dare move in the open.
the government has avoided making knee-jerk emotional responsives to satisfy the public,i admire that--shows strength at the lead,imo.Max ---footnote just hearing how the Taliban were blasting away at planes,Pentagon says,"we have no idea what they are shooting at".
One suggestion is that they were firing at high flying remote control spy-planes.
