The problem we face today is that so many countries now have the technology to destroy the world, and the potential for the destruction of the entire human race is so friggin real that we need to learn to check our national egos at the door and think globally.

I believe that in the 3 weeks since 9.11 this reality has become apparent to the world, and is the primary reason why former enemies have been so quick to sit down together and form a coalition that makes the avoidance of a global conflict its primary focus.

I'm afraid the next World War will not last years--it will probably last months, and there will only be a few humans left to write its history.
