Oh my, CB. Im starting to get a killer of a headache... Guess we can expect a repeat hit of a Tomahawk, this time homing on some innocent group of Chinese tourists - expected TOA within next 24 hours.

Put your thinking cap on, CB, and ask yourself two questions.

1) You know that DEBKA is not reliable. Why give it any credence on matters which you suggest move the "global tectonic plates"?

2) Why would China, a nation that has its own problems with Islamic fundamentalists in the Western provinces (they include terror on the fundamentalists' part), side with them in a conflict that promises to harm the militants in a very substantial way? It would be the equivalent of the US having wittingly assisting the VietCong.

DEBKA is not reliable, so don't get all frothy about its reports, especially if they don't make fundamental geopolitical sense.

That's a very interesting site but I don't know how reliable it is. It does seem to be Israeli but is very critical of Ariel Sharon as not being right-wing enough. So I doubt it comes from any official organization in Israel.

I find the thing on China very unbelievable but who knows. Much of the rest sounds very credible.

What does "debka" mean anyway?
