So far so good on my "Enquiring Minds" opinion from two weeks ago, concerning the preparation for and commencement of hostilities would not take as long as Desert Storm, and so it is, not quite four weeks compared to over four months for Desert Storm.

RE: ACLU--The ACLU has lost its purpose by concentrating solely on first amendment issues, irrespective of the context. Historically, the ACLU has been valuable in preserving individual rights to freedom of speech and religion, in issues as important as state support of religious schools (through vouchers, etc.). The news note you provided shows that the ACLU is becoming extremist in its own hard headed way.
