We have a deflationary environment, why should gold explode? Unless you believe that all the money AG has poured into the financial system in the last few weeks will find its way to gold. We had greater crisis, like the Gulf war without people running for gold. We ad Asian markets collapsing and massive devaluations there, and gold stood still, we had Russia defaulting on debt and the fear that LTCM will cause a meltdown of the derivative markets, why would people run to gold now? Watch how that 293 level is holding like a rock during the last three weeks of uncertainty, it more likely to be a distribution top (and GS laying out their shorts again), then a break out. I believe you would be safer to sell here and buy back if $320 is taken out, or, as I expect, on another retrenchment to the $260/$275 area. Zeev
