I doubt if you're scared at all. You may be concerned, but that's not fear. The people that are scared are the ones that are concocting all of these wild stories, and trying to enlist others in their fear. There was a story that a group of elderly people recieved some sort of "mysterious" package in the mail, and they immediately became ill. It turns out the substance is harmless, but they don't know what it is. Their imagination is what made them sick, apparently. Which, btw is probably the fault of all this yelling fire in a crowded theater crap that the media is pumping out. It's probably going to turn out to be metamucel, and they just forgot they mailed it to themselves.
