Exact same stuff going on here, police, army everywhere in nyc, arrests across the country etc.
Is the 21st shaping up to be the Century of Asia or what.
I scared that they’re looking at us licking their chops, and their chop sticks.
If it's true that the Chinese take a long term view.
How long can we fight a war on Fundamentalism without getting worn out.

I am withholding judgment on the China-Afghanistan issue until it becomes clearer.

I don't put faith in Debka, but the South China Morning Post is published in Hong Kong, which is part of China. It's usually reliable, but I'm waiting to see something official from our State Department or something published by an unimpeachable source. Chinese companies have been helping Iraq build defense systems, and the Taliban, and the official line is that "it's not Chinese government policy - we can't control what these companies do." Right.

An interesting question, if Debka is deliberately publishing misinformation, is why?
