Gold sucks because it is a manipulated commodity. And it is a blonde colour. That and you cannot suck and blow at the same time. Perhaps if gold blew you a fair wind it would not suck. Right now the little green men from Tau Ceti tell me that it is blowing fair with an upward tilt. It is also nice to mine, if you mine at the right grade. Nicer still if it is all mine. It is like printing money in the teeth of a gale. I know where it can be mined fairly. A veritable sincecure if we can get the money. It is an evil wind that blows nobody at all. EC<:-}

Regarding creating wealth out of thin air, you were of course saying that with your tongue in cheek! and being very funny! To my mind, just as there are conservation laws/principles in the physical world such as the Law of Conservation of Energy, Law of Conservation of Mass and Law of Conservation of Momentum, etc, etc, so there are conservation laws in many other things, including wealth. Perpetually getting more and more of something out of nothing is an illusion.
