JP:

Are you familiar with Canabrava as a diamond exploration play? I don't follow diamonds directly myself, but SWG is a 45% shareholder of Canabrava, which has a JV in Ontario with Kennecott -- so SWG gives you a shot at a diamond play as well as all its other PM holdings. Anyone else familiar with this who could comment on its prospects? And related to this, *when* is SWG going to start moving! <g>

Regards,
Howy

Demand for gem-quality diamonds will collapse in the coming severe recession because middle-class buying will dry up. I don't know whether the diamond cartel can maintain the price. I think that the price of gold and silver will fare better in a severe recession that will diamonds and base metals. BAY and FGX are my largest holdings.

Thanks JP.

I will check out MAJ in more detail as C.C. also mentioned it in one of his reports.

Best regards,
