I agree. But since it takes 10-12 years to «make» a diamond mine, it's better to invest in exploration now!

what will happen is what happens every time there is a tighening of the belt - high cost producers will cut back on production. Look to cheap sources to keep on supplying. Snap Lake may be backburnered for a while - JBL is doing winter work this year.hiring is ongoing now. Look even further south to Wawa and see what could happen there. DeBeer's has taken a 100 t + bulk from Pele and procesing it no charge. Add to it some of the conditions of the agreement and ya get a picture of how hot DeBeer's was to get this into it's labs. Results are guaranteed from DB in 60 days. Pele is working on the property on it's own in the meantime w/o a major as it's not needed for this program.

Look at RIV - they are gonna hire contractors to blast and haul ore 2 kms to a mill at a cost of $6 per ton. Then RIV is gonna mill for $15 per tonne. This is CDN. $21-25 per tonne of rock. Wanna see how small and mediocre a stone one needs to mine in Wawa to be successful! Tonnage is not likely to be an issue. 2 of the 5 maar diatremes are over 1 km in length already.

What CNB is now chasing is a dyke up in the north. Does it outcrop to surface? Have they found macros yet? Do they have open pit and high grade vein Gold projects as a backup if necessary? naw - CNB has a lot of disgruntled investors though. ouch
