You are dreaming of a complete solution. I doubt if we get one. At best its a dream....and will remain so. All IMHO of course.

A reported asked Rumsfield to name the countries which were helping America in this 'war' and what their role was. Rumsfield said it wasn't possible for him to outline that, that the countries should come out with a definition of their own kind of support, coz it was difficult for him to label their help.

On a different note, Bin Ladin's speach was very compelling and thought provoking. But he signed his own death warrant by ridiculing Saudi Royals and Arafat. He hoped to get their pubic to follow him, and he may get that. But the countries are not democracies. The Royalty rules them. And wants to continue ruling them.

Musharraf is a dead man walking. He's got 3 guns pointed at his head with the U.S. gun being the biggest ... that's how the U.S. gets cooperation out of an unwilling ally ... don't let the public honeymoon fool you. That's also the only way to get anyone in Pakistan to cooperate. Musharraff is under threat from the U.S., the Taliban - Muslim extremists in his own country - bin Laden and now also from India. Considering that he doesn't appear to be a very intelligent guy he's managing it better than expected.
