What to do about Iraq?

He's definitely got to be taken out. However, our military is half the size it was back in the Gulf War. It took six months of preparation to be able to attack.

What I worry about is whether our diminshed ability will allow us to wage war on two fronts. If China were to do something against Taiwan, or the North Koreans to act up, or Libya, or, or, or......

Is America ready for the nationalization of the manufacturing industry to build armaments?

I think nukes will only play a part if things get out of hand. Whose side uses them first is the question.

Gee......this renewed debate is happening just now? I said 4 weeks ago we should go smoke this @$$hole. Carpet bomb Baghdad (with no regard for human life) and occupy the country. Then ask the neighbors if they have a problem with what we've done. If anyone says yes....they're next. See....Baghdad has something to lose.....Afghanistan doesn't think they do. Which is why I believe I would make an example out of Iraq and then do the covert missions in Afghanistan. If within a month the covert mission don't yield bin Laden.....then quit fishing with a hook and use the net.

Net = Nuke

The Afghans think they have nothing to lose here. Well...if it were me I would hit them so hard that the poverty, hunger and rubble they live in today would look like BOARDWALK after we finished.

MILWAUKEE -- A Watertown man who reported having flu-like symptoms is tested for a possible case of anthrax.
The FBI and hospital officials say the 40-year-old man went to the emergency room at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital this morning complaining of minor flu-like symptoms.
FBI special agent Barry Babler says preliminary observations don't indicate the man had contracted anthrax, but more tests were ordered.

Hospital spokeswoman Sarah Estell says the man told hospital staff he received a piece of mail that contained a white, powdery substance about two weeks ago.

A Florida man was killed by the disease last week, and anthrax was found in the nasal passages of his co-worker. Federal investigators are looking into the source of the anthrax, which can be used as a biological weapon.
