I too am not a conspiracy theory believer, but stuff like this really gets to me. I used to listen to Harvey Houtkin rank and rave on his radio show about how the SEC is nothing but a pawn of the large industry players, now I'm not so sure that he's wrong.

Was this news scheduled? I wonder if they're using their post 9/11 buddy relationship with the SEC to slip this stuff through.
