Re: Realtick per share commissions

The last time I checked, about 8 mo ago, cents/share wasn't really possible on Realtick because Townsend was charging a flat fee per ticket to the brokerage; it was about $3 per ticket regardless of share size. This is why RT commissions are flat fee - otherwise the broker would lose money on small trades.

Traders who want RT cents/share should voice their concern to Townsend Analytics - 1-800-827-0141

Leland,

Try coupling IB...Interactive Brokers with Nextrend for data feed....

$80 a month for Nextrend....it's not realtic. I've had realtic and do not find Nextrend a handicap.

IB charges a penny a share up to 500 shares and then 1/2 penny thereafter. The short list on hot or obscure issues is pretty bad so you may have to keep 2 accounts. If you like fast trades, this is a hot combo.
