When the Democrats in Congress wanted to go after the 2 percent harder, the Republicans and the NRA howled like banshees. The Republicans and the NRA said "No!" to longer waiting periods for background checks. Perhaps you can explain why longer waiting periods is a bad idea. I doubt it, but go ahead and try.
