do you have any clue - any clue what so ever - as what Islam is all about, and where it came from and what has it contributed to the civilization? Er, unless I'm very much mistaken you addressed that post to the one person on the thread who IS a Muslim... and is pretty knowledgeable about the history of his religion, to boot. <g>

Thanks for the invitation but no thanks. I take my understanding of Islam from the religion of Islam. There are corrupt regimes that claim Islam as the state religion. I know of none that are not corrupt, oppressive, and tyrannical. This is well known by Muslims and non-Muslims and is not a testament of anything about Islam. There are also web pages that claim to be educating people on the nasty truth about Muslims. These reactionary pop-culture sites twist doctrine out of context to make it appear as something evil. They point out examples of struggling human beings who've done bad things and report them as exempliary Muslims. Bottom line, they promote hate and bigotry. If you honestly seek understanding of the truth, you will find it. If you have an agenda you will likely be smothered by it. In either event, I don't debate my religion with anyone. Have Peace
