This thread has made major "adjustments" to the GG as a so called manual.

So when does the book come out?

Seriously, though, it certainly would be handy to have a FAQ-like review of the areas in which this thread has modified, supplement, re-emphasized, etc. To be sure, it would have to be peppered with dissenting views, but that itself would be educational.

Baskets thrown out - rightly or wrongly (IMO wrongly).

It doesn't seem to me that they have been thrown out so much as we have trouble finding them. By the time that we are very sure about something being a gorilla game, it is generally the case that the gorilla already seems apparent. In fact, generally it seems like we have identified the candidate gorilla before we are sure that the game qualifies.

Perhaps this weekend would be a good time to look ahead as to which Gorillas (and Kings for those who take the header seriously) are worth doing DD on now - looking ahead to 2002.

Did we ever stop looking?
