You might not specifically claim that absolutism is absolutly not true, but you do react very harshly to it whenever it rears its head in any guise either benign or radical. So I can see why some people would be confused.

Oh I understand alright, I just happen to disagree. Relativists are making truth claims all the time until you call them on it, then they qualify till the cows come home or until they think nobody is looking, then they go back to asserting truth claims again until the next time someone notices, and so on and so on and so on.........
