To a degree, I agree with KyrosL. The only way that the royal family is leaving is by force. An insurgence will be lead by clans less sympathetic to the US. Sadam would probably take a shot at moving in. It would be a mess and unless what you are suggesting is that the US should send a large contingent of ground forces to occupy the country and sustain huge loss of life while we try and "install" a democracy, I don't see who will fight the radicals that you refer to.
