I doubt any theist will stand up on this thread to advocate such either. I certainly won't. Witch trials pale in comparison. I was questioning the assertion (please read prior posts) that atheists, as a broad, sweeping statement of some kind, are benign when contrasted with theists. I offered evidence to include in the assessment of that assertion. Witch trials hardly refute my point, as fundamentalist suicide destruction is a much stronger argument against theists in general, if you wish to make one.
