Good post el gaviero,
I'm less eloquent but have posted that this is just the beginning. I think though you are right, the beginning of the 'end game'.

Kastel

>>weakened by feminism<<

Are men stronger when women not feminists? Maybe so.

But what are your alternatives? If you destroy feminism, how do you differ from the Taliban?

el gaviero,
Bravo, excellent post. The similarity of fundamental Islam to puritanism struck me also. From a religious viewpoint I would call it "legalism". End Game of the Age of Oil is an interesting idea also, as are all your points!

I hate to bring up the recent Presidential election, but it is interesting in view of your post how clearly OUR country was cleaved between city and country folk!! Perhaps what is characteristic of Bedouin has been simmerring here also under the surface or perhaps it always was. As a country folk myself, I can note with amusement and considerable consternation the "city folk" idea of a home around here seems to be to build a huge house on an acre or two on a hill with a view, a mansion actually, in the middle of a doggone cornfield! Whereas with country folk, if they had the money and their druthers, would rather have a smaller home and a hundred acres or so to knock around on. Country folk understand you see, that one can always build a house, but you can't build land. But I am digressing, as country folk are like to do, lol!

BTW, The feminist thing is going to get you some grief I think, ggg.

Best Regards,

Roebear
