You probably know this already, but you can't propagate apples by seeds. The seeds won't be true to the tree. You have to propagate with scion wood, and make grafts.

The grafted part will make the same apples as the tree the graft was cut from - the roots don't matter at all for that.

So if you have found a really fabulous apple, the only way anyone else will share is if you cut some scion wood and use it for grafts, or tell someone about it so they can do that.
