Easy to say from the safety of your home!! How do you suppose people in a village get away from the armed terrorists in their midst - especially when a missile can strike out of the blue with no warning! And you make the comforting assumption that these poor people know what's going on - as if they have TVs watch CNN etc. I'm sure many of them don't know why they're being attacked.

Th big lie in this war as in all recent wars is that these so called smart weapons always hit their targets. We were conned into believing in the Gulf War that the missile going down a chimney was the rule rather than the exception.
Also the U.S. is using cluster bombs in this campaign. Approximately 10-15% of the bomblets don't go off and in effect become land mines adding to the already treacherous land mine situation there.
