I glean from your latest post the following: You're not sure about the existence of God; nevertheless, you believe that it's absolutely true that we should all work to maximize our mutual well-being and reduce our suffering UNLESS you, whomever you may be, don't happen to think so, preferring instead to generate as much suffering (or whatever, who's to say?) as can be. that's dandy too: The agnostic/utilitarian/relativist? I don't get it.

Well, I'm not in agreement with everything Greenpeace do. I think my stance strongly in favour of nuclear power is frowned upon, for example. And indeed my general pro-technology bias is a little suspect... but I like most of what they do and campaign for. I'm sure I'd like what the Nature Conservancy do, if only I knew more about them than the name, but I'm glad they make you so pleased. <vbg> Personally, my view is that no group matches my requirements 100%. I feel this puts the emphasis where it belongs. :)
