In the long run, we'll have our hangover from what the Fed is doing now. However, within the next year we'll see a good recovery for the short term. That recovery will last at least a couple of years. Telecom spending will increase during that time. Companies like Cisco will benefit. That will be a good time to reduce your risks and holdings. For now, it's a better idea to buy, since it is inevitable we'll get a good 1-2 year pop from the Fed's and Govt's actions. The caveat is another terrorist attack, though. Clearly, any external shocks could do more unforeseen damage to our markets.
