Actually, I said nothing about financial circumstances, but "physical circumstances", like the need for fewer sons as laborers. I mentioned affluent Saudis to point out that they do not need many sons, but continue to have many wives. You have to follow the posts. My point, in the end, is that when circumstances are not exigent, monogamy is preferable. It raises the status of women, leads to more personal intimacy, avoids egregious status competition among wives, enables children to be integral to the marital relationship, rather than remote from their fathers, and so on........Anyway, te absolvo.......
