Slider: Zeev Head whom I consider the best stock market forecaster on SI thinks we troughed in September and are now in a new cyclical bull market. He is looking for a major retrace in November that will come close to testing the lows, but sees clear sailing after that. His basic thesis is that low interest rates will keep valuations from sinking anywhere near past bear market troughs when rates generally were much higher than they are today.

Time for the semi-annual WORLD BAIL OUT TOUR. Looks like kickoff concert is more confetti for the Turks? So, what's another 9 Billion? Let's see....Last massive Bail Out Tour was 1998. Guess were about due. markets.ft.com. Then Argentina, Indonesia, Korea, Philippines, yada yada, yada. AND, sooner or later, the big guy...... JAPAN! That one's really going to be quite a show to watch when it gets rolling. A few months more of contraction in global trade and it will be time to bail out EVERYBODY. But it doesn't make any difference. It's all fiat money. Just print more and drive gold lease rates into the ground. With the massive anti-American riots, why not just air drop the dough over Jakarta, and let em fight over it.<g> And once most of the countries blow it all - AGAIN - in a year or 2? It'll be time to gas up the jumbo for the next Bail Out Tour. What a way to run a world.<lol> Isopatch
