Poet, I have not read the last 10,000 posts on this board so I am not well informed, at this point, on the personal dynamics among the various authors on this board. Considering the nature of the subject currently being debated, there has been a great deal of civility, in my opinion. For the most part, I don't really believe there have been personal attacks but a difference of opinions. Sure, in the heat of debate, we can all take criticism personally. But it is in the nature of these debate... the simple fact that we are free to express our views without restriction (and admittedly, sometimes with poor discretion)... that we may forget that young Americans are currently in a hostile environment trying to defend.
